How this Spotify playlist downloader works

Paste a Spotify playlist link and the full track list appears before anything is converted, so you can see what you are about to get. Positions are then processed one at a time, and each row carries its own state: queued, converting with a live percentage, done with a file size, or unavailable.

You do not have to wait for the end. Every finished song gets its own download link the moment it is ready, which matters for a long list — a fifty-track playlist takes around eleven minutes, and the first songs are available within the first minute. When the last position is done, everything is packed into a single ZIP.

Two limits are worth knowing in advance. The playlist has to be public: Spotify hides private ones from everyone except their owner, and we see exactly what a logged-out visitor sees. And for very long playlists Spotify only exposes the first hundred positions — those are the ones converted, and the page says so rather than quietly dropping the rest.

How to download music from Spotify

  1. Open Spotify — the app, or open.spotify.com in a browser.
  2. Open the track, album, playlist or podcast you want.
  3. Tap the three dots next to the title.
  4. Tap Share, then Copy link.
  5. Come back here and press Paste.
  6. Choose a format — MP3 320 is already selected.
  7. Press Download. No captcha, no account, nothing to install.
  8. Wait: one track takes seconds, a playlist a few minutes.
  9. Take the file — or the whole ZIP. Tags and cover art are already inside.

Private playlists have to be made public in Spotify first, otherwise the link opens for nobody but you. Converted files are kept for 24 hours and then deleted.

What the archive looks like when it arrives

Files inside the ZIP are named with a zero-padded position, then artist and title: 01, 02, 03 and so on. Unpacked into a folder, they stay in playlist order even in a player that ignores tags entirely and sorts by filename.

Every file carries its own tags — title, artist, album and cover — so a music library files them correctly rather than dumping a hundred untitled tracks into one pile. The archive itself is named after the playlist.

Positions that could not be converted are simply absent from the archive, and the page shows which ones and why. The numbering follows the original playlist, so a gap in the sequence tells you exactly which song is missing without comparing lists by hand.

Questions

How do I convert a Spotify playlist to MP3?

Paste the playlist link into the box at the top of this page and pick a format. Every position is queued automatically, so a Spotify playlist to MP3 conversion is one paste rather than one track at a time: fifty tracks take around eleven minutes, and the first files are ready inside the first minute.

Do I need to install anything to download Spotify playlists?

No. It is a Spotify playlist downloader online — the queue runs on our servers and the files come back through the browser, on a phone exactly as on a desktop. Nothing is installed, no account is created and no captcha is shown.

Can I download songs before the whole playlist is finished?

Yes, and that is the point of the per-track list. Each row gets its own download link as soon as that song is converted, so you never wait for the slowest position. The ZIP with everything appears at the end as well.

How many tracks can one playlist have?

Spotify only hands out the first hundred positions of a long playlist, so those are what gets converted. The page tells you when that limit was hit instead of silently returning a shorter archive.

My playlist link does not work. Why?

Almost always because the playlist is private. Spotify hides private playlists from everyone but their owner, and we see exactly what a logged-out visitor sees. Open the playlist settings, make it public, and the link will work.

What happens if one song cannot be found?

That row is marked unavailable and the rest of the playlist carries on. A single missing track does not fail the job — the ZIP is still built from everything that converted. Usually the cause is a regional restriction on the source rather than the song not existing.

Is the playlist order kept?

Yes. Files are numbered in the playlist order, so the archive unpacks in the sequence you saw on the page rather than alphabetically.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up, no email and no limit on how many files you convert. Nothing about you is stored beyond a server log entry that is dropped within a day.

Is it free? Are there limits?

Free, with no daily cap and no queue for paying users, because there are no paying users. Very long playlists simply take longer — progress is shown per track.

Which formats are available?

MP3 at 320 or 128 kbps, M4A for Apple devices, and FLAC or WAV when you need lossless. Most converters in this niche offer MP3 only.
